_Highlighting passive and experiential technologies of the facade

Solar analysis_ summer solstice, northern orientation. This analysis helped with the integrity of the building, material selection and placement of certain rooms, daylight projections and the dual-view outside facade.

_Conceptual / finalised model 1:200

This model highlighted the progress and initiation of the facade/ form. From here, I was able to create a greater glimpse of the model to scale and its detailing in reference to spatial dynamic and presence.

Week .10

The characterisation of facadism and human movement has been fused to elaborate a discourse of architectural prose. After the tutorial, the succession of installation work has reached a different emphasis. Creating a future architecture within Queen St mall is progressively signified by the output of human movement and kinetic energies. Grasping this course of direction can create simultaneous ideologies, where psychology of architecture, human integration, sustainability influences and natural phenomena may enhance the placemaking within this space.

The installation works by Ned Kahn emphasise a greater shift in the perceptions of natural processors and human observance. He focses on the complex and continurally changing systems of natural phenomena, capuring the world around us (nedkahn.com, n.d).

CASE STUDY_
Henri Bergson, philosopher
Appreciating complexity_ the ideology of multiplicity, convention and complexity

Bergson looked at the relationships of time and space in the realm of differences, constructing, interpreting, conceiving and experiencing. Looking at the creative mind, Bergson identified the existences of how we perceive the world today; psychologically, physically and experientially.

 Creative Evolution, 1911
“The history of the evolution of life, incomplete as it yet is, already reveals to use how the intellect has been formed, by an unineterrupted progress, along a line which ascends through the vertebrates series up to man.”
